Here are your instructions for preparing photos.
First, gather your pictures together on your hard drive. Then, compress them
and resize them. We prefer 640 X 480. 448 X 336 pixels. Make sure you compress. Microsoft Office Picture Manager will compress for the web to 448
X 336 in just a couple of clicks. When the picture is compressed, save it
in a folder that you will use just for this site.
Create an Album
Log in at the left. When you do, a new link will appear at the top right of
the page that says "Manage" When you click on "Manage", it will take
you to the page where you create albums and add pictures to them.
Add Pictures
After creating an album, be sure to check the "Make this album public box"
if you want everyone to be able to see it. Then click the Add button.
Next to each album are 3 buttons. Use the edit button to add pictures to an
album.
A few notes:
When adding pictures to an album just browse to the folder you put your compressed
images in, click on the picture and add the caption.
For now I would stay away from the "Bulk Upload" feature until you are a little more
familiar with how this works. Ron will be watching so don't worry about breaking
anything, I can fix it.
